Day 3 Yacht Trip to Croatia Islands

After picking you up at Split promenade (BOAT MEETING POINT) you willl step aboard our speedboat for a thrilling ride to Bisevo Island, whose highlight is the Blue Cave. In order to appreciate its ethereal beauty, we’ll arrive exactly at the time of the day when the sunlight reflected through the sea floor bathes the entire cave in aquamarine light, while objects in the water are turned into shimmering silver.

According to old fishermen’s evidence, on Bisevo island lived a number of monk seals. They used to call this animal the “sea-man” in their dialect. In the past fishermen persecuted monk seals because they tore their nets and scared the fish. The cave called Monk Seal’s Cave is the biggest among them located immediately behind the cape Biskup towards the bay of Baluni.

Then we slice through the Adriatic to explore Komiza, a picture-perfect, authentic fishermans village on the island of Vis. You will have free time to wonder around the old town, relax on the beaches with shaded area provided by the tamarix trees and taste some typical Medditeranean snacks.

With sun on its peak, we will sail towards one of the most beautiful secret bay on Vis island, perfect place for swimming and snorkeling before our final destination – the town of Hvar, one of the most beautiful harbors on the Adriatic and a rich cultural heritage. Its  seven-century old walls still survive, as well as many of the 15th-17th C Venetian era noble houses and public buildings. The easy walk around the town to discover its many charms is a delight.  On its famous promenade you will have the opportunity to have lunch at your own expense and enjoy typical dishes. Afterwards it’s time to return to Split on our speedboat.

Day 4 Visit Bosnia & Herzogovina
After picking you up at the pre-arranged meeting point or at your hotel, we’ll begin our journey to Bosnia and Herzegovina. On our way to ancient Ottoman city of Mostar we will stop in the walled town of Pocitelj, UNESCO World Heritage site, a place that will intrigue you even more to discover the history of the Otoman city of Mostar. In Mostar our local city guide introduces you to the great history of this city known as “the window to the Orient”. We’ll  visit the Old Bazaar, full of picturesque shops and craft workshops, and the Mosque. Afterwards, we’ll enjoy a walk along the famous Unesco – protected Old bridge from the 16th C. You’ll  have plenty of free time for shopping and the opportunity to taste some authentic Bosnian specialties like cevapi, pita or burek.  Then it’s off to experience the beauty of Bosnia and Herzegovina on our way to our final destination, one of the most-visited pilgrimage centers in all of Europe – Medjugorje. For believers and those who are looking for spiritual renewal, the most  compelling site here is the Mount of Appearance where Virgin Mary is reported to have appeared to children in 1981 for the first time. Our  tour guide will help you understand and appreciate why this place of peace and compassion has become such a world-wide destination for pilgrims. As an option, you may also enjoy some wonderful swimming in the nearby Kravice waterfalls. After this beautiful experience we return back to Split.

Day 5 Visit Krka Waterfall

After picking you up at one of our meeting points or at your hotel, our excursion to one of the most popular sites in Dalmatia begins by driving along the border between the coast and the hinterland. The stories about the area between Split and UNESCO protected town of Trogir, takes you on a journey through rich history that the region has for more than 3000 years.

Then it’s on to Krka National Park and Skradinski buk, one of the best known natural beauties of Croatia.  Our professionally-guided tour includes a fascinating walk through  authentically restored ensemble of small stone houses, workshops, exhibits  and watermills which show how water used to make village life possible and sustainable centuries ago. Then we’ll begin our walk to enjoy the rich diversity of flora and fauna through a network of forest pathways as well as over wooden bridges.  After about 90 minutes, we proceed to Roski slap,  a beautiful, quiet, untouched nature area situated in the upper part of the Krka river canyon, perfect for swimming and relaxation. During the break you will have the opportunity for an optional lunch in a typical Dalmatian konoba (tavern) where you can taste traditional local food like prosciutto, cheese, hearty bread, wine and local fruits and vegetables.

Along the way you will enjoy the same kind of  breathtaking views that professional photographers capture to illustrate Croatian tourist brochures—like the panorama of Visovac Island.

Then we say good-bye to the park and continue our trip to the seaside city of Sibenik, to see its main attractions – including St James’s Cathedral, which is UNESCO World Heritage site. We return to Split along the beautiful coastal road, passing by picturesque villages, such as Primosten and Marina, and beautiful islands.
