Itinerary
Your full-day tour starts with a pick-up at your hotel or Nile Cruise in Luxor, where you'll meet your very knowledgeable guide. You'll travel in a private air-conditioned vehicle to the West Bank of the Nile, home to the Valley of the Kings, the tomb of many pharaohs, including King Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tut-Ankh-Amon, King Ramesses VI, King Merneptah, and Amenhotep II, you will be taken next to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the only female pharaoh to rule ancient Egypt. Then head to Colossi of Memnon, the remains of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III, an impressive structure.
You'll have lunch at a local restaurant on the East Bank—drinks are excluded—and you'll rest for an hour before leaving for the last part of the tour: the Karnak Temple is an extensive complex and proves how relevant worship was during the history of Luxor, your tour will be completed by a visit to the Temple of Luxor, which was built by two pharaohs from different dynasties.
