Itinerary
Your tour Egyptologist from Rotana Travel meets you and then escorts you to Dandara, which is 85 km north of Luxor. In Dandara, you will visit the beautiful temple of the goddess of beauty, Hathor. The temple has a massive stone roof, underground passages, and a magnificent rare relief of Queen Cleopatra IV and her son, Caesarian. The Temple of Hathor—it was known as the 'Castle of the Sistrum' or 'Pr. Hathor'—House of Hathor.
Then head to Abydos City, which is 135 km from Luxor. There you will see the Temple of Abydos, where, according to the beliefs of the ancient Egyptians, the god (Lord of the Underworld) was buried. The Temple of Seti I was initiated by King Seti I but was completed by his son, King Ramsess II. The Osiris Temple at Abydos boasts some of the most beautifully preserved paintings of the gods and pharaohs anywhere in Egypt. Traveling to these attractions allows the customer to pass through countryside villages and magnificent scenery of both the River Nile and the fields. They are equally fascinating, much like visiting the temples themselves. Drive back to Luxor after concluding your tour.
