Itinerary

Your Marsa Alam day tour starts by being picked up from either Marsa Alam, Port Ghalib, or El Quseir hotel by a Marsa Alam tour representative. This is the detail of the drive to Port Ghalib and distances differ depending on where you are coming from. The pickup time will therefore vary depending on the location of your hotel, as this will dictate the time you will take to get picked up and for the drop-off as well.

Upon your arrival in Port Ghalib, the boat transfer to the first dive site Marsa Mubarak will be provided. This pretty dive destination has a sand plateau that merges smoothly into the slope of the sea bed, which is lined with a colorful reef wall and fish schools on the coral ridges. A patch of seagrass is home to the site’s main attractions: the green sea turtles found in the area and a dugong, which has been named Dennis.

This dive at Marsa Mubarak will be the highlight of your Marsa Alam tours due to the spectacular views at the bottom of the sea. Then, the Egyptian lunch will be available on the boat after the first dive to allow divers to have a break off before the next dive. The second dive is at Marsa Shouna, where an everlasting marine fish and coral-based tour will be conducted by the professional diva instructor from Egypt tours. Finally, after the second dive, you will return on the boat to Port Ghalib, where you will get transferred back to your hotel.
