Itinerary
Your tour starts at night as one of the Egypt tours guides picks you up from your Marsa Alam hotel to Hurghada airport. Upon arrival in Cairo, the professional tour guide will take and accompany you to some of the most famous places of interest in Egypt, beginning with the Pyramids of Giza: Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus; the Great Sphinx; and the Temple of the Valley.
You take your lunch at one of the quite delicious eating places and then proceed to the Pyramids and visit the Egyptian Museum, which has a large collection of 260,000 ancient objects, including those of the young pharaoh Tutankhamun.
After that, your guide will take you to the Royal Mummies Hall in the National Museum of the Egyptian Civilization. (With 200 EGP extra charge). It is important to note that the Grand Egyptian Museum is as yet still under construction; however, it should be launched soon. Then, take a flight to Luxor by Egypt day tours and check in at a hotel at Steigenberger Nile Palace.
On your second day, your guide will then take you around the Karnak Temple, one of the largest temples in the world. Located along the Nile River and built on a total of 247 acres, it has three primary shrines and several others that were constructed in different periods of historical setting by different pharaohs. Optional: The hot air balloon has an additional 85$ per person in the morning; take up early morning flights over the Valley of the Kings.
Take your lunch at any local restaurant and then take a motor boat ride over the Nile and visit the Valley of the Kings, the tomb of most of Egypt’s kings like Ramses II and Tutankhamun. Next, you will proceed to the temple of Hatshepsut, a premier example of creative architectural design that shows three-story structures of presently well-preserved ancient temples in Egypt. The Marsa Alam day tour ends with a visit to Amenhotep III’s statues, known today as the Colossi of Memnon. At the end of the tour, you'll be transferred back to your hotel in Marsa Alam.
