Itinerary
Embarkation in Aswan for a relaxing week will be spent sailing the Nile on a luxuriously appointed Dahabeya. Overnight, the ship will anchor overnight on the Nile Banks of Aswan.

You will visit the Aswan High Dam and the Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, a structure rescued from the rising waters of Lake Nasser at the time of the High Dam's construction. Sail on the way to Kom Ombo (noon time). Overnight near by Kom Ombo

Morning sail to Kom Ombo To visit the ptolemaic temple dedicated to the crocodile god sobek and the falcon-headed Horus, god of the morning sun. Overnight moored beside a Nile Island

Sailing today by Edfu in the morning to visit the wonderfully preserved Temple of Edfu. Overnight moored beside an island.

Today is a day of leisure. After breakfast we will start sailing to Esna, cross the lock, then moor the dahabeya beside a Nile island.

Sail to Luxor this morning and visit the splendid temple complex of Amon-Ra with its great hypostyle hall of 137 columns at Karnek as well as the great 28th Dynasty Luxor Temple, before overnight mooring in Luxor.

Excursion to the West Bank was one of the best things I did visiting the tombs of the Pharaohs, in particular the Valley of the Kings, where in 1922 Howard Carter discovered the tomb of King Tutankhamen. Go on to the adjacent Valley of the Queens, Medinet Habu Temple, and Colossi of Memnon to end your daytime explorations. Overnight: moored in Luxor.
