A journey by cruise on the Nile from Luxor to Aswan is a breathtaking journey through ancient Egyptian history and offers a very unique chance to appreciate the most renowned landmarks along this river throughout Egypt. From Luxor, visitors go on a monumental journey that includes the Valley of the Kings, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple before heading south to Aswan, which has the Philae Temple, the High Dam, and the mind-boggling Abu Simbel, along with other sights. The cruise captures the strength of the river being combined with the majesty of Egypt in its historical treasures, in a pleasurable yet intelligent way of experiencing the rich architectural and cultural wonders of the country.

Itinerary
4 Days / 3 Nights (Every Friday)

Upon your arrival at Aswan, you will meet with our Rotana Egypt's English-speaking representative, and a private A-C van transfer will be arranged to take you to your beautiful Nile cruise vessel. Arrive checkin. On the first day, you will have your lunch onboard. After lunch, you will enjoy sailing on the Nile by a motor boat to reach the Temple of Philae, which was built during the Graeco-Roman period and dedicated to the goddess Isis. Finally, you will be guided to see The Unfinished Obelisk, which is carved of red granite and dedicated to god Amun Ra. After your tour, you will return to the ship. At night, free on your own in Aswan.

Breakfast would be on board your ship. After that, join your Egyptologist tour guide for an amazing visit to one of the great temples in Egypt, the Temple of Kom Ombo, where once the two gods Sobek & Haroeris were worshipped. Return to your ship and enjoy your lunch on the sun deck, enjoying the outstanding landscapes of the great river Nile. Afternoon, enjoy a chariot ride to the Temple of Horus in Edfu, known for being one of the best preserved temples in Egypt. After concluding the tour, you will be returned to your ship. Afternoon relaxing aboard your ship. This evening dinner is on board. At night, the Egyptian Folkloric Show party will be operated by staff on board.

After breakfast on the Nile cruise, "your first step into the heart of the magical tour at Thebes, the hallowed land, will be spending time in luxorius places like the Valley of the Kings of the western bank of Luxor, the space once regarded as the royal cemetery of the Theban kings and other rulers of ancient Egypt, and the sacred grounds such as where our Pharaohs were buried." Following the above sightseeing, we will proceed with the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari. Considered one of the most splendid specimens of the architecture of ancient Egypt, this temple is entirely carved into the mountain. Completing this tour will take you to the Colossi of Memnon, the statues that belong to King Amenhotep III. After that, you will return to your ship for lunch. Free time in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight on the cruise.

Check-out has to be done after breakfast. After that, you are going to enjoy your tour discovering East Bank in Luxor. It has the most wonderful Karnak Temples Complex, which is taken to be the biggest complex construction in the world as it covers an area of hundred. Finish this lovely tour in the Temple of Luxor itself, which has been built by one of the kings of the 12th dynasty & would be completed by one of the most well-known kings, Ramses II, which you have to visit finally. In this case, after completing your day's tour, you will be transferred to your place in Luxor through our private A-C van.

5 Days / 4 Nights (Every Monday)

On arriving at Luxor's airport or station, you will be transferred to your Nile Cruise by private air-conditioned vehicle by a representative from Rotana Egypt. Their boarding is before noon. You will see the east bank of Luxor in the afternoon, starting with the Karnak Temple Complex, probably the largest structures humans ever built. The principal building is that of God Amun Ra, since it was considered the house of God on earth. Older parts date back to the Middle Kingdom, although there are references dating some buildings as old as the 3rd dynasty. After completion of the above part, you shall be visiting the Temple of Luxor, built by one of the 12th dynasty kings and completed by the then-world-known king Ramses II. It was in the heart of ancient Thebes and, like Karnak, dedicated to the chief god Amun Re. After your day's tour, transfer back to the ship to rest and refresh yourself later on tonight. The crew will arrange to have an Egyptian folkloric show. Dinner will be served and overnight in Luxor.

Have breakfast aboard the cruise on the Nile. Then start the wonderful experience that awaits you in Thebes, the holy land, by taking into account the west bank of Luxor. The Valley of Kings is counted as a royal cemetery for Theban kings and other rulers of ancient Egypt, and it is where our Pharaohs were buried. Later, you will visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari. The first meal of the day is enjoyed onboard your Nile cruise. And soon after that, your tour guide will take you on a very mysterious journey to the land of secrets. The tour in this place will continue by visiting one of the most magnificent temples in Egypt, the Temple of Horus in Edfu, which is considered to be one of the most well-preserved temples in Egypt. After this, you will revert back to your ship. Lunch will be served on board during the sailing to the city of Kom Ombo.In the afternoon, you will continue exploring Temple of Kom Ombo, where the two gods Sobek & Haroeris were worshipped for a while. Back to your ship and lunch. Sunk on the deck while looking at the rather unique landscape created by this great river Nile. Such banks have housed the whole ancient Egyptian civilization. Dinner will then be served on board while sailing to the city of Aswan. You will be reached late in the evening at Aswan and stay overnight there.

Breakfast will be served on the vessel. Then, together with your Egyptian tour guide, explore the wonderful city of Aswan, including the High Dam constructed by Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser in AD 1960 to protect Egypt from the Nile flood. Later you will go sailing on the Nile River with a motor boat up to Agilika Island, where you will visit the Temple of Philae, founded in the Gaeco-Roman epoch and devoted to the goddess Isis (mother of god Horus). Finally, you will be taken to see one of the marvelous sites in Aswan, the Unfinished Obelisk, hewn out of red granite and created for the glorification of god Amun Ra. Then return to your ship after the day tour is finished. They will offer board lunch. Afternoon tea will also be served on board. After that, one is off to the free evening. Dinner and overnight in Aswan

Check out after breakfast. Then, our representative will accompany you to Aswan airport-station to take your flight to Cairo.

Optional Tour: Excursion to Abu Simble temples either by private coach or by domestic flight: you will be met with our English-speaking tour guide in Aswan who will transfer you by private A-C van to Abu Simbel, which lies south of Aswan on the western bank of the Nile, 180 miles south of the First Cataract in what was Nubia. The site was known as Meha in ancient times and was first documented in the 18th Dynasty, when Ay and Horemheb had rock-cut chapels hewn in the hills to the south. Arrive at Abu Simbel Temples, which were built by the well-known king, Ramses II. The biggest temple was called the Great Temple. It was built by Ramesses II and being dedicated to the famous god Rahorakhty. While the smaller temple and it was dedicated to king Ramesses II himself and his beautiful wife Queen Nefertari. After your day tour ends, you will drive back toward Aswan. Arrive Aswan and be transferred by private A-C van to your chosen hotel there for check in, rest and refresh or transfer to Aswan airport to catch your domestic flight to Cairo.
