Itinerary
Welcome to the city of Cairo in Egypt. As you arrive at the Cairo International Airport, you will be met and assisted by your tour guide. After this, you will be taken to your hotel in a private – air-conditioned deluxe bus. At the hotel, the tour guide will meet and assist with the check-in process as well as go through your Egypt holiday schedule, confirming the pickup time for every tour included. Overnight accommodation will be provided in Cairo.
A welcome drink will be given.
You will have some breakfast in the hotel and then you will take off to the Giza Plateau with a personal guide to view the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, Mykerinus the Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. The midday meal will be taken in a local eatery. After these activities, you will head directly to the Egyptian Museum where the breathtaking displays of the ancient Egyptian civilization and its riches will impress you. Time permitting, we head to Khan El Khalili, the oldest mosque and bazaar in Cairo. Afterward, you will return to your hotel again for one more night in Cairo.

In the first light of the day, leave your hotel in Cairo and make your way to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan. On reaching Aswan Airport, our Rotana Egypt Travel representative will meet you and assist with your arrangements. A transfer will then be arranged to your Nile River Cruise vessel in time for lunch on board, so you can experience a unique Nile cruise on Christmas. A tour to Philae Temple, which is dedicated to goddess Isis and her father god Hathor, as well as visiting the Unfinished Obelisk which is the largest ancient obelisk found in the southern stone quarries of Egypt will be embarked on. Dinner will be served onboard, followed by an overnight stay in Aswan.

Breakfast will be on board while you cruise to Kom Ombo to visit the temple devoted to the two gods, Sobek and Haeroris. Later, you will sail to Edfu while having lunch served on a cruise. In Edfu, you will visit the Temple of Horus which is known to be the most intact cult temple in Egypt. Afternoon tea will be served as the boat gains on Esna. Dinner and sleeping arrangements will also be on the boat.

Breakfast is served on board as you set off for Luxor on a cruise. After this, head to the West Bank, where you can see the tombs of 62 Pharaohs in the Valley of the Kings. In addition, visit the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a temple built for the female pharaoh Hatshepsut during the New Kingdom, around 15BC in El-Deir El-Bahari, and see the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch shall be on board. Afternoon tea is served before dinner on board whilst sailing. Return to Luxor for the night.

Take breakfast while on the cruise and finish the cruise. Ready to depart? Then you will be taken to the East Bank where you will find the temples of Karnak and Luxor. Then, you will take a shuttle to the airport for your flight to Cairo. Once you arrive at Cairo airport, transfers will be arranged for an overnight stay in a hotel in Cairo.
