Itinerary
Depart from Cairo for El Bahariya Oasis, about four hours. Next, we visit the small museum in Bawiti with some interesting local discoveries.
Then we will visit the wonderful and so unusually fresh tomb of Benantui from the 26th dynasty. The paintings of this tomb are of value to understand the culture of ancient Egyptians: the image of the deceased, offerings, and different gods.
Then, after visiting the Temple of Alexander, drive to see the English house, thermal springs, and watch the sunset over the Salt Lake.
Camping overnight.
After breakfast, in the morning, drive towards the incredible White Desert. We will stop on the way by the Crystal and Black Mountains, the most striking natural sites in Egypt's Western Desert, for a visit and lunch.
Visit the White Desert & enjoy seeing the beautiful shapes of limestone.It's individual landscapes and geological structure.
Overnight in camp in the White Desert.
After breakfast, in the morning drive to the small oasis of Farafra, visit the art museum, the hot spring, and the old oasis; then have lunch. After that, continue driving to Dakhla.
En route, we visit the picturesque village of El Qasr, Deir El Hagar, and visit the Roman burial ground of Mozawaka, then drive to the painted rock in the yellow desert to enjoy the camel rock.
Overnight camping.
After breakfast, return to Bahariya Oasis to return to your hotel in Cairo.
