Take a comfortable drive from Aswan to Luxor in a modern private vehicle, accompanied by your professional guide, arriving there, you will see the magic of the sights of Luxor; start with the Eastern bank of the Nile, the complex of temples, chapels, pylons, and other buildings making up the great temple complex at Karnak. Initiated during the Middle Kingdom under Senusret I, construction of this temple continued well into the Ptolemaic era, a beauty dedicated to the cult of the Theban triad: the gods Amon, his consort Mut, and their son Khunso. You will savor a delicious lunch, after which you will take an excursion to the West Bank of the Nile to visit the famous Valley of the Kings-a large burial area for New Kingdom pharaohs, including the great Ramses II and the young King Tutankhamun tombs, both quite well preserved.
